Thanks to our partners JANDS, we will be starting the session with a deep dive into AV & space tech- what’s essential, what’s worth it, how to work out what your market, your space and your community will be looking for and how to plan for and purchase at various operating levels and budgets.

Our coworking spaces are not just desks, chairs, internet and people. After you have the basics in place there is a whole world of hopefully seamless tech that allows our members to plug in and sync up to the modern world of work. In the best of worlds those services are intuitive, integrated with each other, easy to navigate without an IT degree and easy to support without a dedicated bank of specialist technicians charging by the minute.When you are an operator of a small, independant, regional or suburban space you are often having to wear many hats and compete on tiny budgets with the sevrice offering of large corporates and our FWA peers with multi-site operations and multi-million dollar fitouts.

So how can you be clever, nimble, small and mighty when it comes to the range of systems and tech involved in running a contemporary well equipped space? How can you stay ahead of the curve without getting caught up with the latest fad? How can you keep laser focused on the fundamentals of what is needed, what is wanted, and what will give you the best ROI for the investment.

In our 90 minute session we will:

  1. First take a look at current trends, wants & needs and how you can borrow best practice tech advice and make it work for you at the right scale for your space and budgets.
  2. We will also consider what is a GREAT coworking user experience and how tech can help you meet or miss the requirements of certification and accessibility standards.
  3. We will unpack a case study of a 300sqm regional space looking to upgrade their offering to meet the demands of corporate clients without breaking the bank.
  4. And we will check in with all of those present to discover what their members are asking for, what their key frustrations are, and how you can learn from other Independant and regional operators to plan and fund your CAPEX budgets in this rapidly changing market.
